Canadian Mining Company Drills in Bisbee

Entrée Gold Inc. has commenced a combined reverse circulation- core drilling program at its Bisbee project in Arizona. The initial three hole, 2,400 metre program (including 1,200 metres of reverse circulation pre-collars) will test a discrete buried geophysical target whose signature is similar to several known mineralized copper porphyry deposits in the Southwest USA. The Dixie target is located 6 kilometres north of the historic Lavender pit at Bisbee.

The Cochise County Fair has always been more important to the rural folks of the county, than any other local event or celebration. Its an election year, so Arizona Governor Jan Brewer will visit the Douglas fairgrounds on Thursday, September 23rd to cut the ribbon and pay tribute to slain Cochise rancher Robert Krentz.

Sheriff Larry Dever Receives Funding Approval From Board of Supervisors

Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever has won the permission of the Cochise County Board of Supervisors to be represented by attorneys of the Border Sheriffs Project.

The Board unanimously approved his request in a 3-0 vote on 9/2/2010, clearing the way for the Sheriff to raise funds with Pinal County Sheriff, Paul Babeu. The sheriffs are defendants in the current Department of Justice lawsuit challenging Arizona’s controversial immigration law SB1070.
