Adriana Badal’s Economic Plans for Bisbee – Then and Now

A little over a year ago, Bisbee Mayor Adriana Badal shared her vision for Bisbee’s economic future. On July 13th 2013, Mayor Badal spoke at an open forum at the old Bisbee YWCA building. Mayor Badal said that planning for transportation and industry was hard, so she had a plan to bring about an economic renaissance with four days of films, a hiker-biker trail, and a developer flying overhead with a genuine filmmaker.

Bisbee International Film Festival Welcomes Submissions

The first Bisbee International Film Festival is online and almost ready to welcome submissions. Bisbee Mayor Adriana Badal has appointed Allison Otto as Project Manager to run the festival, while Mayor Badal will also be the Managing Director… The mission of the Bisbee International Film Festival (BIFF) is to honor and encourage an appreciation of the people, culture and environment of the U.S./Mexico border region through a celebration of film and visual arts.
